Lock types
5 Lever British Standard Mortise Deadlock (BS3621). Available in
case size 63mm and 76mm
Mortise Locks
Come in 5, 3 or 2 levers depending on use. Can be for use with or
without door handles according to model.
Shashlocks
Mortise sashlocks have both a latchbolt operated by a handle, and
a deadbolt.
Deadlocks
Mortise deadlocks have only the one bolt operated by a key. 2 and
3 lever locks are not recommended for use on exterior doors.
Rim Night Latches
Four basic types of rim night latches offered by most manufacturers:
High Security conforming to BS 3621
Double security lock with inside handle which can be locked from
the inside with the turn of a key, and autodeadlocked on closing.
Security lock deadlocked by a full turn of the key when leaving
house unoccupied.
Traditional" low security convenience lock with latch hold
back facility.
Replacement Cylinders
Most brands of night latch cylinders are readily interchangeable.

Digital locks that can be added to an existing mortise
lock or latch. In the case of mortise lock you just place escutcheon
plates over the key holes and you can then use the mortise lock
for extra security when access is not needed with the digital
lock
